A client is hospitalized for treatment of a fractured femur. Suddenly, he becomes pale, confused, and very short of breath. He complains of pain to his chest. The nurse also notes petechial hemorrhages on his legs and stomach. The nurse suspects that this client:
- is having an acute anxiety attack
- may have a fat embolism
- may have a wound infection
- is having a myocardial infarction

The correct answer is (2) because involvement of the long bone with shortness of breath involving respiration and petechia this occur within 24 to 48 which not mention.what make (1) wrong because its psychosocial. and (3,4) it doesn’t answer the question.

The correct answer is a 2 a fat embloism. The first thing that came to mind was some type of emoblism/clot.
