Correct answer: 4
Creams and powders, many of which contain heavy metals, will further irritate skin sensitized by radiation therapy and reduce the effectiveness of therapy by blocking radiation. The client may wash with water only, but must take care not to wash off the radiation markings. It would not be desirable to further heat the area. Covering the area is not desirable. The area should be left open to the air as much as possible.
