trouble
I’m having trouble emotionally with my cousin’s wedding that is coming up. I used to babysit this girl. Yes, I know another of the kids I used to babysit is married and divorced, but Kellie’s wedding is starting to bother me when I think about it. I’m 28, she’s 19. In my family, I should have been married long ago. Heck, Angela just celebrated her 3rd anniversary and she’s 5 years younger than me. Her wedding didn’t bother me as this one is. I looked through the family tree. Kellie’s twin, Shellie, Stephen B., Donnie, & I are the only 3 out of high school and not married or divorced. And I’m about to count Shellie out because my mom tells me she is now sporting a rock on her finger. Donnie is older than me (31) and Stephen is around 22. It’s not that I’m wanting kids all of a sudden. I just want someone in my life to come home to (other than Boo and the boyz as loving as they are). My family is very family oriented and I get the question “When are you going to get married?” constantly. My usual reply is “When I can find somebody who can put up with me.”

One of my cousins once asked why I wasn’t married yet and I said, “Because I’m smart.”
